GuocoLand's relationship with the people in its properties used to be occasional: a lease signing, a purchase, a visit. Guoco Club changes the frequency. It is the group's membership app, and it puts exclusive offers, favourite merchants, family memberships, and the group's properties themselves into a member's pocket.
The result is a property brand that shows up in daily life, not just at the moments when property changes hands.
Members redeem exclusive discounts and offers from merchants across GuocoLand's developments, and save their favourites for quick access, which quietly turns the app into a habit rather than an occasional utility. Membership extends to the household: members invite family to join as subsidiary Guoco Club members, widening the programme beyond the primary relationship. And because the group's properties live in the same app, browsing GuocoLand's developments becomes part of the same daily surface.
The app is built with React Native and Firebase, backed by PHP and Yii2 with REST APIs, and is live on the App Store. One codebase serves both platforms, keeping the cost of each new feature proportionate to its value.
Guoco Club shows what a loyalty system is actually for. Not points for their own sake, but frequency: turning an occasional relationship into a daily one, on a surface the brand controls. For any business whose customers appear rarely but matter enormously, the mechanics translate directly.
