What is Videography & Animation?

Videography and animation are where strategy and identity become tangible. They are the formats that carry the most weight when a brand needs to say something that words alone cannot hold — a campaign that needs to move people, a story that needs to feel real, a concept that needs to come alive.

We approach every film and animation project with the same discipline we bring to strategy: the brief is interrogated before the treatment is written. Who is watching this, and in what context? What do we want them to feel, and what do we need them to do? Those questions shape the concept, the tone, the pacing, and every creative decision that follows.

Our production work spans brand films, campaign content, documentary storytelling, and social-first formats. Our animation capabilities include 2D motion graphics, kinetic typography, and infographic animation — used to explain complex ideas with clarity, or to give a brand’s visual identity a life it cannot have in print.

We have produced film and animation for national government campaigns, multinational brands, and independent F&B operators. The scale differs. The standard does not.

02
Strategy

With a clear understanding of why, we build the strategic foundation: positioning, architecture, and messaging. This is the document all work traces back to.
03
Design

Strategy becomes visible. We develop the visual identity, communication systems, and creative work. Every decision is rooted in the foundation we built together. Nothing is arbitrary.
04
Delivery
Delivery
We hand over a brand ready to be used, with guidelines built for real decisions. Where needed, we stay involved to ensure the work lands the way it was intended.

Frequently Asked Questions About Video Production & Animation Services

What's the difference between videography and video production?

Plus icon
Videography typically refers to the act of filming or capturing footage with a camera. Video production is the broader discipline that includes pre-production (concept, script, storyboard), production (filming, directing, lighting, sound), and post-production (editing, motion graphics, colour grading, sound design). How much does video production cost in Singapore?

Plus icon

A short social video may start from SGD $3,000, corporate videos and explainers typically range from SGD $8,000 to $30,000, while full brand films, documentaries, or campaign productions can reach SGD $50,000 to $150,000+. Wherefore scopes each project individually and provides tailored proposals after a creative briefing call.

Plus icon

Can Wherefore produce both live action and animation?

Plus icon
Yes. Wherefore handles both live-action video production and 2D animation in-house. Many projects combine both, for example, a brand film with animated lower thirds, or a documentary with infographic sequences to explain complex data. Having both capabilities under one roof keeps the brand voice consistent across formats.
