We collect the details you choose to send us. That usually means your name, email address, phone number, company, and whatever you write in the message when you use our contact form or email us at hello@wherefore.sg. If we go on to work together, we also hold the information needed to run the project and invoice you.

We also collect basic technical information when you visit the site, such as your approximate location, browser and device type, and which pages you viewed. This comes from analytics and helps us understand how the site is used. We do not take payment details through this website.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, discuss a possible project, and carry out work we have agreed. If you become a client, we use them to manage the project, send documents, and issue invoices.

We use site analytics to see which pages are useful and where the site could be clearer. We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run our systems, such as our website host, email provider, and analytics tools, and only so far as those systems need it to work.

Where we work with a partner or vendor on your project, we share only what that person needs to do their part. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@wherefore.sg and we will respond. If you have asked to receive anything from us, you can tell us to stop at any time.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you are in Singapore and you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can raise it with the Personal Data Protection Commission.

We keep your information on systems protected by access controls and encryption in transit. Access within the studio is limited to the people who need it for your project. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please use your judgement about what you send us by email.

We keep enquiry records only as long as the conversation is useful, and project and financial records for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require. After that we delete them.

We update this policy when our practices or our obligations change. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
